Planning the Packaging

Our commitment to protection and efficiency applies to every order, regardless of whether it’s a single table base or a bulk order of 75. We consider each shipment as more than just a delivery; it’s a reflection of the care and craftsmanship that goes into every table base we sell.

When planning how to pack an order, we consider individual product components, shipping destination, total and individual weights, and choice of carrier. We use our expertise in table bases and previous shipments to determine the most efficient, ideal way to pack each order. For example, we may ship five JI3-22TP12s in 3 cartons or 5 cartons—depending on destination, carrier, and weight. With this level of consideration, it’s easy to see how dedicated we are to you and your customers.

Exterior Packaging

Our exterior packaging is more than just cardboard. We add structural support with our corner protectors, designed to minimize dents, rips, and other damage to the carton during transit. What truly sets JI Bases apart is that we include our assembly instructions on the packaging itself. Not only does this reduce waste, but it also helps your customers envision assembly before their table bases are even unpacked. Interior Packaging

The inner packaging is designed to protect the product, utilize packing space, and minimize potential damage efficiently. The thought process behind each packing solution focuses on distributing weight between cartons, minimizing damage in transit, and securing cartons for durability.

After our table base experts plan the best way to pack an order, we may use packing assistors to make further improvements. For example, your customers may see packing sleeves on the ends of their pronged table base plates. This sleeve helps deter damage to both the carton and base plate. We also utilize foam between individual components in the same carton.

Beyond the Packaging

The moment when your customer receives their order is just as important as the first impression. It solidifies the customer’s experience, making the difference between disappointed and satisfied.
